the sentence above maybe you have heard a million times, but is it something that you put your effort to every day? Many times we hear so many good things and we know deep in our heart that they are truths, but it is not always so easy to get to live by them.
Maybe that´s because we are not willing to do the efforts and changes needed to be done. We can not do anything about things that happens to us and around us, but we can do something about how we react and how we act and what we say. We may feel one way, but still choose to react another way... Our feelings are definitly not the truth. Try to start making the small changes, for example be quiet and think about what you are saying before you open your mouth, start trying to look for everything that could be possibilities and positive things (instead of always finding faults, negative things, mountains to climb, worry about things that can happen etc..).
You know when you want changes in your life, it is most important about those small every day changes- because in a long run, they have then brought you to a totally different place than you would be in if you continue to do the things you do today and think the same way. But if we think we have to immediately do some big, radical change, then we almost always fail. Because we haven´t had time to get used to it and it will be to big a challenge for us. "if you want to eat an elephant, you´ll take one bit at a time"
