Long day. Is in Sweden and got up 4.20am this morning and came here 9am. Then we´ve had seminars until 7pm. 10 hour long intensive day but really, really inspiring. Have you taught about that you build trust with every person you meet. you either make a deposition or a withdrawal on the trust account they hold with your name. When you make a deposition, you raise your personal brand at the same time and when your personal brand is high, you get a bigger circle of influence. So start making lots of deposition. You make that by helping someone, tell them nice things, listen to them, keep your promises (or even better-overdeliver and underpromise), give compliments, encourage.... start with your own family .

I want to talk a little about money. Money is a subject on everybodys mind, more or less. Especially if you lack money you know what I´m talking about. Because if you don´t have money you think about them all the time and where to get them from. But also if you have so you manage you can be busy thinking you need more, or you can somewhat be passive and think you don´t need more (or isn´t worth more...). And if you have much money, your character also need to be developed, so you use the money wisely. Too many rich people become greedy and end up destroying their lives and their relationships. And then people blame that on money. But money itself is neutral, not bad. It is the love of money that is the root to all evil. We need to love God and love ourselves and love one another, not money, not things, not position. Then we can understand that we can be thankful (even though we have little money) and we can handle it when we get rich (so we don´t start rely on money..).
Money can be used for so many good things that it would be selfish to say that we don´t want more of it. Because even though you don´t want things, you can use money to bless others. Maybe you have kids and can pay for their educatioon, maybe you got parents that are retired and could need financial support, maybe you have much money and can use it for orphants, poor people around the world, to help prevent and occur diseases..... and so on. Money is the tool that can be used in so many different areas, so stop saying you are satisfied (be thankful where you are, but always try to develop and say "yes" to receiving more and start dreaming on where you gonna use the money you get, to be a blessing to others), because to say you are satisfied means you have stopped your creativity and development and put yourself in a comfort zone where you don´t belong!!

That´s why so many people lacking money have difficulties finding and seeing opportunities coming their way, because they are just focusing on the problems and then , unfortunately, more problems is what you will get. Sometimes when we want to achieve something, we put in all our effort and try hard, and when that doesn´t work we quit and give up. Instead, decide to give it all it takes and never take quitting as an option. Maybe you don´t have to put in all your time and all your effort but you have to make those small changes everyday and those small steps every day and be persistent.

If you have dreams you need to let go off your safety for it to come true. We usually stay where we are safe, called the comfort zone, because we are scared of letting go and try something new. But if you stay there you will never succeed and live an extraordinary life either. The most common thing is also that people completely stop dreaming at all. They have stayed so long where they are safe and comfortable that they start saying to themselves "well, this is my dream, I don´t want anything else than this in life". I think that´s a big lie!!! sorry, but I do believe we are all created into greatness, and we are all created to dream, achieve, develope...but because we´re hurt, because we´ve failed, because we´re scared we more and more stop doing things, stop trying things and we stop dreaming in order to protect ourselves from being disappointed. But I want to encourage you to take hold of your life, start seeing what´s in it or you, start believe, achieve and take one step at a time into the unknown. I´m here to support you!! I have also red the book by Napoleaon Hill: Think and grow rich". I can recommend that book. Because I believe there is so much greatness hidden in human beings and 95% lives a life, that is not their best at all. So start dare to believe!!

Yes, that´s true, God didn´t create a "nobody", only a "somebody". And our lives are connected to each other. To find your right place in life, help other find theirs... If you just chase to fill your own desires, if you try to run to be at the top, you´ll sooner or later find yourself at the top alone. And what is it worth then, if you don´t have someone to share it with, if you have run over everybody and ruined your relationships? Nothing.
No, if you want to succeed, help someone else succeed first, if you want to the top, make sure you help others to the top first and then you´ll bring as many as possible with you. If you are lonely, find someone you can bring friendship and blessings to. Turn away all the focus from yourself towards others and you´ll be closer to your meaning of life everyday.

That is so true. I have never seen anyone succeed when they think and say "it´s impossible, I can´t do it, it will never work"..
And unfortunately when you think negatively, you reap what you sow; you will draw negative persons to you, and if you do business, you draw to yourself people who don´t want anything, won´t buy, don´t think your service or product work and so on.
You often then start to think that you meet wrong people, that you would like to meet right people, but the only one you have to change is yourself and your thinking! Start by only listening to people who have succeeded in the area you want to succeed in, then start to invest money in your own changing; buy new books, magazines, cd:s and seminars and coaching. The money you invest in your own thinking and view of who you are, that´s money that will give you success for the rest of your life. Change your image, your talking, your friends..whatever needed. If you continue your life in exact same way as before-you can never expect different result, can you??

Today is business seminar about success and to win other peoples trust. I´ve been asked why is McCarthy better than rest of all business coaching, seminars and so on, and my answer has been; because it´s so complete and simple. It takes in so many different aspects, but still easy for any employee without knowledge in leadership, to understand and get the tools. In coaching we deliver something every session.
I have been a person that was shy and depended on others approval. But I have learned, studied, worked hard with myself to get over it and over the years I have learn to be proud (not pride) of what I´m doing and that´s a step to be taken. this can seem a bit hard to understand at first when you read it, but if I explain with some examples, then you´ll know exactly. take a doctor; some knows just what to do, but then you one day meet an engaged doctor who also know why he is doing this, he wants to save lives or he really wants to help people to quality. you can feel that he really cares. or a teacher´s why that is he really wants to help raise the children to find and use their potential, you know he´s much more positive and active than the one that only knows what to do.
So why will help you stay motivated from the inside, it will inspire you and help you keep on going even those tough days, even when obstacles arise. You get passionated when you find your "why"

both of these two are about activity, action. So it´s about digging into yourself and find your "why", find your purpose and act upon it. Then you´ll be successful.

Our coaching programme help you with this, in every area of your life. And the point in life is that we all can always be better, or what? If you stop developing, if you stop learning new things...you die a bit.

These four days I´m in Sweden, I´m here to get inspiration, I´m here to listen and learn. Even though I´ve been to seminars like this for about 8 years, I come with an open mind, I have the attitude that I can learn new stuff and I can also refresh my memory of things I´ve heard before but have forgotten. But activity requires discipline, it requires some other price to pay...for me of course it cost money and it is time away from my family for 5 days, but it can also be, choosing between some hobby or going to a seminar, or something like that.

A great thing I heard once, was that the best investment that gives the most payback...do you know what it is? Stocks, saving accounts......???

No, it´s the money you put into your own education, your own training, learning, always striving to be better. Personal growth. That will pay off the most!!

self-development take place when you recognize and learn from mistakes and failures and also analyze success. It requires that you take responsibility and not blame others, and developing yourself will always also require self-discipline.you do analyzing by examine your decisions and actions and the outcome of them. Remember not to take yourself too seriously, and understand that failure is just the way to success.

Self development you also gain when you do things afraid .
some people chooses to improve their weaknesses, but I usually say; learn your strenghts and work with them. Your gifts and talents and calling in life is surely among your strenghts, so make them even better.

Along the way you also gain more self-confidence when you learn to take calculated risks , put goals (write them down)and analyze and review at a regular basis how you are improving.

money management

there are much to say about money management, but I always try to write quite shortly (and that´s because me myself ´never want to read blogs where the stories are too long), so here it is;
Spend some, save some and give some.
To spend is maybe not the most difficult part:), but the other two...
But anyway, to spend is about planning and making a budget. You decide where your money goes. Most people say they don´t know where all money goes, they just disappear...NO , they don´t disappear, you must take control and know where your money is going. What´s your income, how much to invest, save, give, how much for bills, living, food, childcare...and then you decide what to spend on other things and when to spend it.
Save some, might be harder, and I want to share that in two also; you can spend some in a bank account to have for unexpected bills (for example, you need a new maching machine), but I also want you to invest 10% of all your earnings. And to invest means that you look for something that will increase your money over time, so the money work for you. Talk to somebody if you don´t know anything about this area.
Give some- that is important too, because the law "you reap what you sow", is true in every area. So if you give away, you will get. Fill somebody else´s need and your needs will be filled. Choose some good charity or just look around and you´ll find people around you that have needs.

no more afraid

maybe it´s not possible to never be afraid, but you know you CAN do things while you feel afraid. "do it afraid" is a really good way. Otherwise fears will stop you from living life to your fullest, the only way we can grow personally is by doing things we are afraid of..and do them over and over again. So start by doing a list of your fears. What are you afraid of in your work, in your personal life, in your relationships...what fears stops you from climbing mountains? living your dreams?:). Then write what is the worst thing that could happen if your fears became reality. And then write down what fear you will fight first. Stand up and fight your Goliat and meet the fear in the eye by doing the thing you are afraid of. I believe in you!!!

oh yes, new week, new possibilities:). That´s great isn´t it? Today is the day you can start to take action. Stop complaining and start doing things for the better instead. Make the small changes that will sooner or later take you where you want to go. We too often think that we have to make those big changes, but then we fail, because we aren´t able to change all things at once. But you know also a big ferry, just shift course a little bit and end up at a totally different place. So what small change can you make today? in your actions, in your thinking? Be the best YOU, you can be! Have a great day!

hope and to hope

They say "hope is the last thing that a man loose", and that is true. You may not die immediately if you loose all your hope, but you sure will. Because we need hope. And as long as we have hope, we will take steps to action.
To have hope is more than just "to hope". That´s another thing, that´s not true hope. To hope for something is really a passive way of living. Nothing happens until you do something. Quit the words "I hope".. and "I wish"... and decide instead to take words of action in your mouth. "I will"... "I have decided"...is much better and will get you closer to the life you long for. Decide today your steps of action. I know you can!

forgiveness and thankfulness

I think one really important decision we can make for this year, is to always forgive when somebody done something to you. And forgiving includes forgetting. Many people say "I can forgive but never forget". In that case you have not forgiven with your heart and you are still carrying the thing with you and that will unfortunately make you bitter over time. When you decide to always forgive and forget, then you can leave the things and continue to have your relationsships, your peace, your love and the things happened to you can make you better, not bitter. You will be happy. You can be more concerned about how you treat people than about how they treat you! And that my friend will make you happy:)
And another important decision is to learn to be thankful. Always focus on what you got, instead of what you lack. There´s always things to be thankful for, the more you feel, you got nothing, the greater challenge to start looking and seek for them:)).

be a doer

I want to encourage you to be a "doer". That means somebody who do things, rather than watch other people do(or wonder why things happen). Because the worst situation we can get in, is when we feel we can´t do anything. When we loose both hope and action. But the feeling that you can´t do anything is nothing but a chrippled feeling that you have to throw away, because it´s a lie. There´s ALWAYS something you can do. In every circumstance. You are not a victim, you are a responsible human being with lots of gifts. And I can say this, because I have gone through lots of stuff in my past.(and still do...).
From this of course I have to later write about "hope", "action" and "responibility" but now I really want to say:
you can do it
you have the power to do something, to change both your circumstances and yourself (what you CAN´T change is other persons, so don´t go into that trap)
start by looking up a mentor that support you (ex. here if you feel you absolutely don´t have anyone), start changing your thinking, your actions, all the things you read and watch and listen to (such things affects us more than we realise, and if you want tips on books, magazines etc that is good for you, then write a comment here with your contacts, I always get back to people private)

a little more about goals and goal-settings. there are some important things you need to know whether you put your financial goal, goal in private life, your caracter building, your work or what it might be. The goals have to be:
1.personal- they have to be your own, something you would like to achieve.
2.you´ll have to write them down
3. they have to be clear, measurable (you have to be able to measure if you did achieve them)
4.put a deadline
5.make them realistic (you can put some long-term goal but in that case you´ll have to break it down what you have to do every year, every month, every week, every day, so put them to something you know you´ll be able to do but anyway not too easy, you´l have to stretch yourself a little).
So now- start by dreaming, make a vision of your life, what do you want to accomplish and WHY?
From that you´ll start making your strategy how you will get there, your own roadmap. Did you know that you create your own life, your own success? You are not a victim, you are the solution!!

the sentence above maybe you have heard a million times, but is it something that you put your effort to every day? Many times we hear so many good things and we know deep in our heart that they are truths, but it is not always so easy to get to live by them.
Maybe that´s because we are not willing to do the efforts and changes needed to be done. We can not do anything about things that happens to us and around us, but we can do something about how we react and how we act and what we say. We may feel one way, but still choose to react another way... Our feelings are definitly not the truth. Try to start making the small changes, for example be quiet and think about what you are saying before you open your mouth, start trying to look for everything that could be possibilities and positive things (instead of always finding faults, negative things, mountains to climb, worry about things that can happen etc..).
You know when you want changes in your life, it is most important about those small every day changes- because in a long run, they have then brought you to a totally different place than you would be in if you continue to do the things you do today and think the same way. But if we think we have to immediately do some big, radical change, then we almost always fail. Because we haven´t had time to get used to it and it will be to big a challenge for us. "if you want to eat an elephant, you´ll take one bit at a time"

My sister and her daughter have started with ultradistance running. Not long ago they ran 24 hours. I admire them, but at the same time I don´t think we are supposed to injure our bodies that way on purpose, but that´s another story:). My sisters daughter threw up for 2 hours in the middle of the race, but still she continued. Because she´s got a goal. She´s got a goal to be able to reach 200km in 24 hours and get to world championship in ultradistance running. She´s not letting some small or bigger obstacles stop her.
Goals are important. In every area of your life. In fact they are one of the most important things you have to have in your life. If you don´t know where you are going, how can you go anywhere ??
I used to say to people; if I´ll take a taxi and don´t know where I´m supposed to go, how could he then drive me anywhere?
No, without goals you are lost. I am later gonna continue about goals and goalsettings..

That´s in every area but very important in the areas you want to be a leader for others. A leader never tell people what to do, but show them what to do and also how to do it. Don´t ever ask from others what you aren´t prepared to do yourself. (or have done already).

Have you been dreaming about a company of your own? Being an entrepreneur is absolutely worth every second. But you got to know that making mistakes is part of your journey forward, they are just stepping stones on which you can climb and learn. Be willing to learn and learn from people that have gone before you, don´t ever listen to people with whom you don´t want to change place with.....
Be willing to take risks. Of course you have to calculate and be responsible, but without taking risks, it is almost impossible to prosper. And develop your personal skills, your leadership skills and skills in time and money management. And have a great vision!! Without vision people perish. That´s unfortunately so true, and still so many lack vision, dreams...big things that makes your "WHY" you do it. The "why" leads you every hard day and the one who knows her/his "why" will always lead the person who only knows "how".

Today it´s been cooler in the air and tomorrow we have august here. I have had some vacation, not 100%, but I have taken care of the most important things only; orders, bills etc.
But from this week I will again write my weekly calender and the 6 most important list every night. That´s great ways if you think you have too little time sometimes. Every night when you go to bed-make your 6 most important list. What´s the 6 most important things you have to do next day and in which order. Never put more than 6. If you don´t have time to finish all 6, the ones that left are the ones on top the next day.
And every sunday you make your weekly plan. I love the most to use different colors for different things, for example; blue for family, red for work, green for training, yellow for own time... By doing this you can have a balance in your life, you´ll see that there are enough of each color. By filling in this, you are also taking responsibility for your time. If you have tuesday evening family time, then no friend can draw you out on anything. Because if you don´t decide your own time, someone else will and that´s not taking responsibility for your life!! When you do this you also put things easier in order of importance. Maybe you´ll suddenly notice, you choose to spend your time with different things than before. Half an hour at least a day less by television or computer, will make time for greater things.
This time management is great for everyone, but especially if you want to be somewhere else in 5 years than you are today- then you got to start making changes in how you spend your time. Because if you continue doing same things as yesterday, you will be at the same place you were yesterday....

under 20 years as entrepreneur I hope I learn something about money management:). At least as the company listed AAA-ranking, which is the best you can achieve and only 4,6% of the companies ever get there.
Thats why I also love companies as Vemma- everybody can get started as entrepreneur with their own business for a very small amount of money, and you get paid for everything you do. that is so genious because otherwise marketing costs a lot of money. So it´s brilliant to give to those promoting the products.
Small advice quickly;
of all the money you earn (wheather it´s very little or much) you´ll got to;
save some, spend some and give some.
Invest 10% of everything you´ll earn, give away 10% (what we sow we will eventually reap) and spend no more than 70%. If you can´t manage on that, you´ll have to make a budget and see where you must tighten. The rest 10% you can pay of your debts (more than the monthly minimi amount). This advice goes for both your private finances and your business.
